​​Valerie Hannan - Artist Bio
​Valerie Hannan is a fine artist living and working on the east coast of Scotland. Born in 1969 in Dundee, Scotland, Valerie pursued her passion for art by studying at Dundee College and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in the 1990s. She now works from her studio in Fife, situated on the picturesque banks of the River Tay.
Valerie's artistic practice is primarily focused on oil painting, where she excels in creating captivating still lifes and evocative cityscapes. Her work has been showcased in numerous prestigious exhibitions, including:

• Dundee Art Society Annual Exhibition
• Glasgow Fine Art Exhibition
• NHS Heroes Online Exhibition
• ING Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries, London
• AngusAlive Meffan Winter Show at the Meffan Gallery, Angus

In addition to these, Valerie has also exhibited at The Dundee Bonnar Hall Annual Exhibition, The Broughty Ferry Artist Exhibition, and several online gallery shows. She has held a solo show in her studio in Dundee, highlighting her versatility and dedication to her craft.
Previously, Valerie taught drawing for beginners from her former studios in Dundee. However, she now dedicates herself entirely to painting in her current studio in Fife, where she continues to create and innovate.
